About Goyang Street Arts Festival

“Goyang Street Arts Festival” is a global street arts festival that has been held annually in Goyang City, Republic of Korea, since 2008. Taking place each autumn at Ilsan Lake Park, the festival transforms natural landscapes and urban spaces into vibrant stages through a wide range of street art performances. Featuring more than 100 performances by over 500 artists, the festival attracts approximately 400,000 visitors each year. You can find out the highlights of the festival HERE.

This year, celebrating its 15th season, we invite outstanding guest performers from around the world to Goyang. If you are interested in participating in the Goyang Street Arts Festival 2026, we encourage you to carefully review the information below and submit your application.

We are interested in:

street performances that evoke laughter and create a deep emotional connection with audiences. We welcome inventive, engaging, fun, and emotionally compelling performances that are accessible to all age groups, from children to adults.

The festival features a wide range of genres, including circus, theatre, mime, comedy, puppetry, and other forms of street arts. Please note that music-only genres are not accepted; however, music theatre or performance works that incorporate music as part of a broader performing arts collaboration are welcome.
 

The Organizing Committee provides the following:

• Total Performance fee 10,000,000 KRW Maximum
• Accommodation (max 3 nights) and Per-diem for festival period
• Pick-up service from the airport
• Technical support</span>
• PR (festival program book, website and SNS)
• Visa support

※ Airfare and cargo costs shall NOT be provided.

※ Performance fee could be adjusted during the selection process.

Submission Guidelines

• Eligibility

- Individuals or groups with representatives who are not Korean nationals and currently reside outside of Korea.

• Required documents

- Completed application form (attached file / in English / DOCX and PDF)

※ The application form must not exceed three pages.

- Photos (maximum of 4) and video (only if it cannot be attached to the application form)

• How to submit

- Email to gsafkorea@gmail.com along with all required documents.

• If you wish to apply for more than one show, please submit a separate application form for each show.
• The application deadline is 20th of April, 23:59 KST
• Results Announcement is expected in the 1th week of May (via the official website)
